Students are like neurons in the human body, buzzing with energy and potential, and forming connections to new and interesting areas. They play a key role in modern medical research, absorbing new knowledge and pushing the boundaries of what we know about diseases of the brain and nervous system.

NeuRA hosts over 50 PhD students whose research will generate medical breakthroughs, breakthroughs that will one day save lives.

Ashley Skilliter is part way through her PhD at NeuRA and is motivated by one thing: to reduce the suffering caused by mental illness.
