Amanda graduated with a Bachelor of Biotechnology in 2005 from Flinders University and went on to complete her Honours at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in conjunction with The University of Adelaide in 2006. Since 2009 she has been a Research Assistant with Professor Glenda Halliday in the Ageing and Neurodegeneration Research program. Her projects primarily investigate the progression of Parkinson's disease pathogenesis.
