Kirsten Coupland obtained a Bachelor of Science with Honours, and Diploma of Innovation Management from the University of New South Wales in 2009. She began her PhD studies in 2011 examining the role of DNA methylation in idiopathic neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease.
