Brian Draper is Conjoint Professor in the School of Psychiatry, UNSW and Assistant Director, Academic Department for Old Age Psychiatry, Prince of Wales Hospital Sydney.
He is Chair of the Australian Government’s Psychogeriatric Care Expert Reference Group, Board Member of the International Psychogeriatric Association (IPA), and Chair of the IPA BPSD Taskforce.
Professor Draper is a member of the Core Management Committee of the Primary Dementia Collaborative Research Centre based at UNSW.
Dr Draper has published extensively on topics that include psychogeriatric service delivery, suicidal behaviour in old age, clinical aspects of dementia care, carer stress, depression and professional development.
