Nerve excitability testing is being applied to spinal cord injury patients to investigate the complex changes in nerve excitability that occur overtime after the injury. Threshold tracking techniques are being used to measure neural function and investigate the mechanisms underlying the processes involved in nerve dysfunction seen in spinal cord injury patients.
