A series of studies will determine the neural mechanisms necessary to adapt/modify the VOR response. This is particularly important because VOR adaptation capacity may be related to how well the VOR compensates after vestibular injury. In particular, we will be examining the effect of vestibulo-cerebellar lesions on VOR adaptation. This work will be done in collaboration with the Royal North Shore Medical Centre and Newcastle University.
