NeuRA shares floor with Garvan institute to highlight cutting-edge research in Genetics and Neuroscience.

22nd March 2018: Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA) CEO & Executive Director Professor Peter Schofield was invited to attend a special event at PwC last night to speak on the latest cutting-edge research and innovations in genomics and brain research. Prof Schofield was joined by Deputy Director of the Garvan Institute of Medical Research Professor Christopher Goodnow, as keynotes speakers, sharing the floor as they spoke about the latest breakthroughs from each institute.

At this unique event, Prof Schofield and Prof Goodnow joined an expert panel that was moderated by Honorary Life Governor of NeuRA Paul Brassil, who is also a former Chairman of the Board and Director. What this event emphasised is the critical importance of genomic and brain research, and NeuRA’s goal to Light the Way for all researchers, to discover, conquer and cure.
