Vale Betty Lynch OAM

It is with great sadness that we advise of the passing of Betty Lynch.
Betty had been a passionate supporter of our research into mental health, with a particular focus on Bipolar Disorder.

We thank and acknowledge Betty for her passion and generosity, mourn her passing and extend our condolences to her family and friends.

In 2017 she also very generously provided a generous gift that enabled the construction of the John & Betty Lynch seminar room at NeuRA.

At this time, we reflect on the message that she sent us and is displayed outside the seminar room.
Communication is vital for all living creatures.
For scientists, communication is essential for research collaboration.
This seminar room will promote intimate discussion and facilitate the exchange of ideas between NeuRA’s researchers and visiting national and international professionals.
Improving world health demands effective scientific interaction.
May NeuRA continue to meet this challenge.
