Brain health now for HIV-associated neurocognitive disorders
The aim of this project is to determine the prevalence and incidence of HIV-associated neurocognitive disorders in Canada and to assess cognitive rehabilitation/training strategies. This project is also sponsoring a pilot study for cognitive training using Brain HQ in Sydney in persons with HIV-associated neurocognitive disorders. This project is funded by the Canadian Institute of Health Research Team Grant “Brain Health in HIV now in collaboration with Drs Lesley Fellows and Marie-Josée Brouilette. (01/2013-12/2018); Dr Lucette Cysique is one of the team’s chief investigators and lead neuropsychologist.
