Formalin-fixed and fresh-frozen brain and spinal cord tissue for research projects may be requested by researchers worldwide. This request first has to undergo a scientific review to ensure that the tissue requested is utilised properly and appropriately. Only after this request has been approved by the NSWBB Scientific Review Committee and a Material Transfer Agreement has been signed can the tissue be distributed to researchers.
