Lauren obtained her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at Macquarie University and is currently undertaking a PhD and Master of Clinical Neuropsychology at Macquarie University. She is a registered Provisional Psychologist and has undertaken clinical training at Macquarie University and the University of Canberra. Lauren is currently working as a Research assistant across numerous projects at Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRa) in the Anstey group. Lauren has participated in research exploring driving safety, biomarkers associated with depression and suicidality, and associations between inflammatory markers, mood, and cognition. She has a special interest in the effects of diet on mood and memory across the lifespan. Clinically, she is interested in differential dementia diagnosis, assessment of older adult driving, the association between lifestyle factors and onset of dementia, and dementia rehabilitation using non-pharmacological means.
