Oliver Watkeys is a PhD student in the School of Psychiatry at NeuRA and the University of New South Wales.

He completed an Honours Degree in Psychology at the University of Newcastle in 2016.

Oliver is currently investigating the epigenetic modification of genes and how this can impact upon the manifestation of severe psychopathologies such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

Imaging Genetics in Psychosis Study

The Imaging-Genetics in Psychosis study aims to determine common stress-related pathology among schizophrenia and bipolar disorder patients, in association with shared genetic vulnerabilities, cognitive deficits, and brain phenotypes.
